The Big 5-0

Tonight after relaxing for a bit, clogging and over flowing the toilet, (oops) we went out to dinner to celebrate Mr. McCarthy's birthday. And although I couldn't snap any photos since I felt it wasn't appropriate, I can assure you the food was d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s! It was a family style restaurant so we ordered huge platters of chicken parm, broccoli, peas and onions, two types of pastas, halibut, and broccoli rabe. I am full right now!

After dinner we came home and continued the celebration with cake and ice cream.

We had an ice cream log cake from Baskin-Robins. I had a bite, very sweet just the way I like it.

I think Bridget wanted to kill me for taking this picture, but hey at least I got it. Hair wet, crusty bun, no makeup, I'm so beautiful.
I'm signing off for the night and hopefully hittin' the hay early, I have a big day tomorrow! Well, sort of. Meaning shopping, a much needed trip to the gym, and an adventure to Battery Park. G'night!
