Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie
Into the blender went:
1/2 cup organic soy milk
1 small tbs. of peanut butter
1 heaping tbs. of cocoa powder
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
half a refrigerated banana
5 to 6 cubes of ice
1 large handful of baby romaine or spinach
Many of you may be skeptical about the spinach in the smoothie, but trust me you cannot taste it whatsoever. Adding spinach or a dark leaf to your smoothies is a great way to add more vitamins and mineral to your breakfast without sacrificing taste or flavor. Now who doesn't want that?!
This smoothie was so creamy and filling, loovveee it! I like to eat my smoothies in a bowl, it reminds me of ice cream and makes it so much more fun to eat!

I'm not sure what is on the agenda for the rest of the day. We had plans to go to the Belmont Stakes, but the forecast calls for rain :(. Major bummer. I will definitely hit the gym at some point today and probably do a little unpacking. Katherine graduates today so Happy Graduation Katherine! I'll catch ya later for lunch, have a fabulous day :)
